Chapter 4 : Research

He quickly packed his bag and started walking towards the nearest car rental shop. He rented a car for few months, and started driving towards the spot of accident mentioned in the article. The accident spot was quite far from his home. After about 2 hours he finally reached the area. He got out of the car and started walking around while trying to recollect anything familiar in his mind. But everything seemed new, as if he came here for the first time. “I should probabily go to the nearest town and ask the people living there if they remember anything”.

                                              So, he drove to the downtown and started showing the article to the people and asking if they know anything about it. The people were not of much help. But one thing that he realized, that there was an accident. It was night time until he finished. “I’m too far to drive back to my home. I’ll stay in a hotel today and continue tomorrow” he thought. He parked his car to the nearest hotel and booked a room.

                                                The next day, he got ready, ate some breakfast and started driving towards the accident stot. While driving he realized that a particular car was following him from a long time. He igonored it and started investigating the spot for any clues. “Are you having trouble recollecting the accident?” he heard a voice from behind. “Yes! Can you help me?” He asked the person. “come with me” Said he “Ill tell you everything”.

Chapter 3 – An Old Accident

He was feeling a little dizzy; and shocked of course. “I’m okay! Don’t worry!” he tried to explain the policeman and the people. The policeman helped him home and he thanked him for that. He sat on the edge of his bed, trying to recollect what just happened. He ate the last bits of his medicine and thought “I should just sleep for some time. I’m going mad!” and by thinking this, he went straight to his bed and slept. After an hour or so, he woke up and started walking towards the kitchen to drink some water. When he opens the drawer to get a glass, he saw an old newspaper. And on the front page, he read his name: “A Miraculous escape of Jack Maltin” “Miraculous escape! From What?!” he exclaimed while picking up the newspaper to read the article. The article stated that he had met with an accident and got lost. But was found 100 days later at sector 27 of Ohio. “AN ACCIDENT?! But I don’t remember anything about an accident!”. “100 Days! I would know if I got lost for 100 days wouldn’t I !?”. “I need to explore more on this”  

Chapter 2 – Surprise

He was shocked. “Where am I?!” Exclaimed he. “UGH! This smell is going to kill me!” He was right though; The horrible smell was enough to kill a person. He was very courageous, so he decided to follow his footsteps that were leading in a different direction. He started following his footsteps, slowly, and wondered “Wait a minute! These are not leading to the market! How in the name of god is it possible?!”. He was scared, he had to admit that. His surroundings were peaky. Dark, Horrifying smell, Roaring noises made him scared. “I just wanna get outta here!”. But seeing his surroundings, there was no way he could get out. Suddenly, he felt some strange movement in the sky. He looked up and saw a large creature, rising and increasing in shape. After seeing this, his blood ran cold and he started screaming on the top of his voice. A minute later, he opens his eyes, and realizes that he is screaming in the middle of the market, with the people and a policeman around him asking what happened.

Chapter 1 – Different Directions

Jack was irritated. His alarm clock had woken him up early on a weekend. “UHH! SHUT THE HELL UP!” groaned Jack while hitting the alarm to a close. He woke up from his bed, and went towards the washroom to get refreshed. He came out and went towards the kitchen to make a bowl of cereal. He looks around for a while and realizes “Oh Shoot! I forgot to bring more milk.” “Well, let me just go and get some”. He wore his jacket, for it is snowing, and proceeds towards the nearest shop to get some milk. He soon comes back with his favorite pack of milk, and proceeded towards making his breakfast. He makes a large bowl of cereal starts eating it. He eats it quickly, as he was hungry, and starts walking towards a drawer to eat his medicine. “I’m such an idiot” He says, exclaimed “My regular medicines are over. I could’ve bought more when I went out for milk. Well, I guess ill have to go again.” He wears his jacket again and walks out of his house, but what he sees! His footsteps from earlier lead in a different direction. When he looks up, he realizes, his surroundings have changed. Its much darker and dirty. Roaring voices can be heard all over the world.

Part 2: The Ancient Mine

I reached the seashore of the island. “I must tie the boat to a log of wood, my boat is my only option to return home,” I thought. I started walking around the island, seeing and clicking pictures of the island as a reference.“ What is that sound” I said? I quickly noticed a trapdoor beneath my feet. “ Trapdoor? What is this trapdoor doing on this island?” I wondered. I am feeling pretty excited as well as scared. I slowly opened the trapdoor and I am seeing a couple of stairs leading to the base. I started walking towards the base. The way is dark so I probably need to turn on my flashlight. I soon reached the base. “It is so dark.” I thought. I turned towards my left and I am seeing a small lantern near me. “I should probably lit this lantern.” I thought. So I lit the lantern and I cannot believe my eyes. I am standing on a mine, an ancient mine of gold and diamond.            

Part 1: I Leave My Home

Hello! My name is Baldwin, Baldwin Brown. I am an explorer. I like exploring and discovering new things. I live all alone, near the seashore. I don’t have many luxuries, I mostly spent all my time exploring and marking the places that I discovered on a world map. I also owned a boat in which I adventured to many places, far or near, and for fishing or exploring. I hadn’t been on an adventure for a long time. So, today, I decided to leave on an adventure.

                                         I am packing up all of my important stuff like clothes, food, flashlights, camera and many other things. I am ready. I boarded my boat, and started sailing it towards the east direction. “I haven’t adventured in the east direction, so, I should sail in sail in that direction first.” i thought. ” I am almost in the east for an hour” I thought, but found absolutely nothing. But I shouldn’t give up and sail until I find something new. I am in the middle of the ocean, alone, with no one around. After 3 hours of sailing, I finally found a new island. And the most surprising thing about this island was!

It is the time of 2152. The Earth is getting destroyed. The people on earth were suffering from many natural disasters. We, NASA, had to do something. We couldn’t just sit here. We had to find a new planet, to save the humans. so, I, William, and my team Oliver, James, and Stella were preparing for a space mission. We found the names and the locations of the 3 planets where life was known to exist. They were Epsilon Eridani, 91 Aquarii b, and  55 Cancri. We prepared for the space mission for 2 months. The engineers were preparing the rocket and starting to load all of the things we would need for survival like food, clothing, oxygen backup, spacesuits, and many other things. While we were researching and training for our mission.

                                                                 2 months passed very fast. we were ready for the mission. We said goodbye to our subordinates and boarded the space shuttle. The space shuttle launched. In 10 minutes we were in the space. we could see the earth and how it was suffering. I was silent for 1 minute. I couldn’t speak anything. How could I? but now it was not the time to remember the past. The people on the earth were dependent on us. We had to discover any planet where life could be possible. It was the only option. We decided to first travel to the planet Epsilon Eridani. It was close to the solar system. It would take 1 month to reach there. All of the team members agreed. 1 hour on the planet equals 1 week on the earth. I will quickly skip my story to 1 month.

                                                  1 month later we reached close to the planet. Its color was kind of bluish- greenish. We landed on the surface of the planet. The surface was fully covered with 2 ft of water. I, Oliver, and Stella got out of the space shuttle while James was ready to inside the space shuttle for any disaster. We walked there for about half an hour. There was no oxygen there, so we put our helmet on. Life is not possible here, there is no oxygen. I was just walking there when Stella called me and showed me the huge wave coming towards us. I quickly alerted the team, we ram towards the space shuttle, boarded it, and drove out of the planet. We marked this planet as not possible for life. Then we decided to proceed towards the next planet: 91 Aquarii b. It would take 2 months to reach there. I will quickly skip my story for 2 months.

                                               2 months passed very quickly. We reached the planet. We landed on the planet and this time all 4 of us got out of the spacecraft. We couldn’t believe our eyes. There so many trees, forests, insects, animals. We checked and found out that this planet had oxygen also. We removed our helmet and breathed in the fresh air of this planet. Yes, this planet was suitable for life. We quickly decided to head back home and decided to tell this information to transfer this information to the earth. It would take 3 months to reach earth. I will quickly skip my story for 3 months.

                                                                 We soon reached earth. We informed our subordinates about the planed. They were super happy to hear that. NASA informed the people and started preparing to change our planet. We all were very happy. The transfer of the planet would take a lot of time. But the good thing was: Humans were saved.  

Mr Edward was a billionaire in London. He used to work for RJ Corporations. One day, for a small vacation he travelled to a Hill station. He came back in a private jet. He landed in London, boarded his car and started driving towards his home. After reaching his home he realized that his bag of money was missing. So, he quickly drove till the airport and asked the airlines that his bag was left in his private jet in which he arrived 10 minutes ago. The reply what he got was shocking. The airlines said that he had not travelled in his jet in the past 1 month. He was confused. He had recently arrived from the hill station. He remembers it. Confused he drove till home. He searched in his whole house. From cupboards till his basement, he searched everywhere. He could not find it anywhere. Now he was so worried. That bag had millions of pounds. He even asked his workers at his home that had they seen any black suitcase. No success. Now he was confused about what to do next. He didn’t trust anyone. He kept thinking that how could it happen. He had recently arrived from his vacation. He travelled in his jet but the airlines are not accepting this. How could this happen? Then suddenly his bell rang. When he opened the door, he saw a couple of police officers standing. They replied that he had left his bag yesterday at the bank’s desk. As his name was written on it, the police could find it. They handed over the bag to Mr Edward and left. When he checked the bag, he saw that his money was safe and sound. Nothing was stolen. Now he was not able to understand anything. He thought that he left his bag in his jet. He decided to go to his room and rest. So, he walked till his room, entered the room and closed the door. Then on his bed, he saw a book named “The Mysterious Airline”. Then he got to know what was going on. The Hill station vacation, the jet, all of these was his hallucination.           

Hello! My name is Joe, Joe Sawyer. I would like to share an incident with you, which changed my life for a day.

                                           I was in 6^th grade when my history teacher announced a field trip to an archeological site called Maya. I must admit, I was pretty excited. This was my first time I was going to explore an ancient site. The next day I quickly boarded the bus. It was a 5-hour journey. Soon we reached there, the ancient site of Maya. It was a very old site, and I was feeling so excited. I was walking around the site when I noticed a castle, a very big castle. I wanted to explore the castle, so I quickly escaped my teacher’s sight and ran towards the castle. Its entrance was a bit peaky: Spider webs all around, the stairs were wooden and covered with a layer of dust. That was obvious: it was almost a 100 yrs old castle. so, I quickly took out my flashlight, and in its light, I proceeded towards the stairs. I was very careful while walking around these stairs, I could fall if I am not careful, so I was very slow and careful. I reached the first floor. I started walking around the floor, and there were so many rooms. I did not explore every room, that would take a lot of time and I did not have that much time. I walked there for about 15 minutes when I noticed that a light was shining from a room on this floor. I quickly walked there and entered the room. Then I saw it, it was a kind of bell. It was mysterious, this is a very old castle, who could keep this object here. So, I went inside and touched the bell.  I realized that It was my time to return home.

                                                  I ran out of the castle and joined my friends. But no one noticed me, they were searching for me. I was in front of them, but they could not see me. It was shocking. So, I took a mirror from my friend’s bag and tried to see my body. At that moment I realized, I was invisible! I was feeling happy and scared and the same time. So, I boarded the bus and decided to have some fun with my friends. I tricked them in the whole journey. Soon we reached home.  Everybody was talking about me. I did not realize when did we reach. I ran straight towards my room and shut its door. I could feel a new ray of confidence in me. I decided to do use my powers to teach the troublemakers of my school a lesson. I was enjoying the moment when the troublemakers were running in chaos and were confused.

                              Then suddenly my alarm clock started ringing. I quickly opened my eyes and I realized that it was a dream! I saw myself in the mirror and could see my whole body. But one thing I learned from this dream is: With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility            

I was shocked, too shocked to even move, after the incident that had occurred to me. I was in a dilemma for about a week. Let me tell you all a story, a horror story, which had occurred to me, one night during a pizza delivery.

                                        I was a pizza delivery boy at joe’s pizzas. I usually worked from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm. But one day, my manager received a call from a woman, at 11:00 pm, ordering 3 medium pizzas. I usually went home at 10:30, but that day I was too late, so the manager gave me the address and asked me to deliver the pizzas and then go home. So, I quickly boarded my car and started driving it to that address. It was a very odd and isolated location, and I was dependent on my car headlights. Soon I reached there. It was an old kind of bungalow. So, I took the pizzas and started walking towards the bungalow. Now I was feeling scared, I just wanted to deliver the pizzas and get out of here. My fear kept increasing as I moved towards the building. I reached the door, there was no bell to ring, so I simply knocked and called “Pizza delivery!” No one responded. Then I saw a window, And I screamed again “Pizza delivery!”.  I turned towards the window and realized that a pair of eyes were watching me, only eyes, nobody, calling me to come through the backdoor. I got that scared that I dropped the pizzas, quickly boarded my car, started it, and drove out of there. The next day I told the incident to my manager and he never sent me to do a night delivery ever again.
